TEFLIN, an annual seminar hosted by the association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia, was held at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya on 8-10 September 2016. The 63rd seminar united the experts, lecturers, teachers, and students of English. Some of the well-known presenters were Dr. Lindsay Miller (City University of Hongkong), Willy Renandya (National Institute of Education Singapore), Christine C.M. Goh, Ph.D (Nanyang Technological University Singapore), Joseph Ernest Mambu, Ph.D (UKSW), as well as Made Hary Santosa, Ph.D (Ganesha University of Education). One of the topics shared by Willy Renandya was about the importance of Extensive Reading. The atmosphere brought out the passion to share and work together for the betterment of English teaching in Indonesia. An ADLC instructor, Desy, participated in one of the presentations held in this conference. The meeting and sharing among those experts of English teaching, lecturers, teachers, and students of different nationalities was indeed enlightening. The conference was immensely beneficial indeed.
