On April 15, 2016, some students of BIPA UAD 2016 went to Tembi Rumah Budaya in Parangtritis, Bantul, Yogyakarta for an outing activity. Cycling around the village, learning to play gamelan, ploughing the rice field using a buffalo, planting rice, and feeding buffaloes were some of the activities they enjoyed during the visit to the area. To end the day, they cooked their own traditional Javanese dish and enjoyed it for lunch. They were all thrilled to have first-hand experience of what it feels like to live as Indonesian farmers.
